ADMISSION \/ RE-ADMISSION<\/span><\/b><\/p>

1.\u00a0\u00a0Admission forms will be available at the school office. Admissions begin nearly one month before the re-opening of the school. The new Academic Year commences from the early third week of February every year.<\/span><\/p>

2.\u00a0\u00a0Pupils seeking admission to higher classes from class I upward will have to sit for an entrance test or an interview taken by the authority.<\/span><\/p>

3.\u00a0\u00a0New pupils must be introduced personally by their parents or guardians who will be responsible for their regularity, conduct and fees.<\/span><\/p>

4.\u00a0\u00a0Fees for pupils who discontinue their studies will not be refunded.<\/span><\/p>

5.\u00a0\u00a0Pupils seeking admission to higher classes must produce Transfer Certificate, PEN Number,\u00a0 Progress Report, and other official documents of the previous school.<\/span><\/p>

6.\u00a0\u00a0Re-admission fee is must.<\/span><\/p>

EXAMINATION AND RESULT<\/span><\/b><\/p>

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Promotion\/Pass in the examination depends on the child\u2019s performance throughout the year and not only on marks secure in the annual examination.<\/span><\/p>

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Students who are absent from examinations or unit tests without valid reasons will be deemed to have failed. Absence from any unit test or termly examination will not warrant a re-examination. However, if a student falls ill during the course of unit test or termly examination, their case may be considered for passing or promotion based on their prior performance. A medical certificate is required in such instances.<\/span><\/p>

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Final Promotion\/pass from a class is decided at teachers\u2019 meeting. Hence results are final and cannot be reconsidered.<\/span><\/p>

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Annual Examination answer scripts shall not be shown.<\/span><\/p>

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Pupils who fail badly in the tests and examinations may be asked to leave the school as being either unwilling or unable to study. In no case however will a student be allowed to repeat in the same class for third time.<\/span><\/p>

6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0No pupil will be allowed to sit for the Annual Examination if the attendance during the year is below 75%.<\/span><\/p>

7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Progress reports are issued on a regular basis. Any attempt to alter entries will be subject to strict disciplinary actions<\/span><\/p>

8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The decisions of the school authorities in the matter of promotion are final.<\/span><\/p>

9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Anyone found using unfair means in examination will be debarred from further examination and will be declared to have failed or expelled from the school.<\/span><\/p>

10.\u00a0\u00a0A pupil who fails in two major subjects is considered fail.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0No request of pass or promotion from the parents\/guardians will be entertained.<\/span><\/p>

11.\u00a0\u00a0All students should get their Progress Reports after the unit tests and main examinations duly signed by their parents or guardians within a week.<\/span><\/p>

12.\u00a0\u00a0Unit Tests, Half Yearly Examination and Annual Examination are important for the promotion of pupil to next class. However, Home Works, attendance and other co-curricular activities may also be contributory to the same.<\/span><\/p>

13.\u00a0\u00a0Results of Unit Tests, Half Yearly and Annual Examination should be collected within a week after the result has been declared. In case of any clarification arising from valuation\u00a0\u00a0of various subjects, Parents\/Guardians should\u00a0\u00a0meet\u00a0\u00a0the school authority at the earliest within a week after the result has been announced.<\/span><\/p>

GENERAL SCHOOL DISCIPLINE<\/span><\/b><\/p>

1.\u00a0\u00a0The School Uniform is to be worn on all working days. Pupils without school uniform will be denied admittance to class.<\/span><\/p>

2.\u00a0\u00a0Parents are requested to see that the children leave their homes in well-ironed school uniform, their hair combed,\u00a0\u00a0shoes polished, etc.<\/span><\/p>

3.\u00a0\u00a0In case of any damage caused to the School furniture like; benches, desks, chairs, window panes, toys and other appliances and equipment, the pupil\/pupils will be made responsible to repair or make it all new.<\/span><\/p>

4.\u00a0\u00a0The school is not responsible for the loss of books, pen, pencils, umbrella, money and other things by the pupils.<\/span><\/p>

5.\u00a0\u00a0Students should never put their heads into quarrel and unhealthy practices.<\/span><\/p>

6.\u00a0\u00a0No child suffering from a contagious or infectious disease shall be permitted to attend class.<\/span><\/p>

7.\u00a0\u00a0No pupil shall leave the class room without the permission of the teacher-in-charge of the class or until the class is dismissed.<\/span><\/p>

8.\u00a0\u00a0Chalk is never allowed to be taken from the class room to be used for any purpose except for writing on the blackboard.<\/span><\/p>

9.\u00a0\u00a0The cultural and co-curricular activities of the school are conducted through house system. Hence all students are obliged to take part in it.<\/span><\/p>

10. All students are required to bring their own lunch boxes and are not permitted to leave the school premises during school hours without prior permission from the Principal.<\/span><\/p>

GENERAL SCHOOL POLICIES<\/span><\/b><\/p>

1.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>School Language Policy<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

“English as the Primary Language of Communication”<\/span><\/strong>
Language proficiency is cultivated through consistent habit and practice. To support students in developing strong English communication skills essential for academic, social, and future professional success, all students are expected to use English as the primary language of communication while on school premises.
All students must speak in English during school hours while on campus, including in classrooms, corridors, and outdoor school grounds. Exceptions apply only during designated Indian language classes or authorized cultural\/linguistic activities.<\/span><\/p>

2. School Policy on Vandalism and Property Care<\/b><\/p>

All students are strictly prohibited from writing, drawing, or making any remarks on walls, furniture, or any part of the school premises. Such actions are considered acts of vandalism and are unacceptable as they damage school property and detract from a clean, respectful learning environment.<\/span><\/p>

Any student found engaging in such behavior will face disciplinary action, which may include:<\/span><\/p>

-A formal warning and a meeting with parents\/guardians.<\/span><\/p>

-Restitution, such as cleaning or repairing the damaged property.<\/span><\/p>

-Further disciplinary measures, including suspension, for repeated or severe offenses.<\/span><\/p>

3. School Policy on Access to Staff Rooms and School Offices<\/b><\/p>

To maintain a professional and focused environment for staff and to ensure the smooth operation of school activities, pupils are strictly forbidden to enter the staff room or school office without explicit permission from a teacher or authorized staff member.<\/span><\/p>

Procedures for Access:<\/span><\/p>

If a student needs to speak with a teacher or staff member, they should wait outside the staff room or office and seek permission to enter.<\/span><\/p>

In urgent situations, students may request assistance from a nearby staff member or administrative personnel.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a04. School Policy on Parental Conduct<\/b><\/p>

To maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment, all members of our school community, including parents and guardians, are expected to engage with staff and school authorities in a courteous and cooperative manner.<\/span><\/p>

Students may be subject to withdrawal of enrollment if their parent(s) or guardian(s) engage in repeated or severe disrespectful, aggressive, or abusive behavior toward teachers, staff, or school officials. Such conduct includes, but is not limited to: verbal harassment, threats, intimidation, or actions that disrupt the educational environment or compromise staff well-being.<\/span><\/p>

5. Fee Concession Policy<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>

Eligibility:<\/span><\/p>

– Families with more than three children (i.e., four and above) currently enrolled in the school and have a very poor economic condition.<\/span><\/p>

Application Procedure:<\/span><\/p>

Parents who wish to apply for a fee concession must submit:<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0A written application<\/span><\/p>

Income certificate<\/span><\/p>

It should be submitted to the School Manager for review and approval. Please do it at the beginning of the academic year itself. (Concession for school fee will only be given for deserving students) <\/span><\/p>

6. Uniform Guidelines:<\/b><\/p>

To ensure consistency in school uniforms, please note the following:<\/span><\/p>

– When stitching new uniforms, please purchase the fabric from the school.<\/span><\/p>

– Uniforms made from fabric sourced elsewhere may vary in shade and color, and will not be permitted in the school.<\/span><\/p>

7. Daily Grooming and Uniform Check<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>

To maintain a neat and orderly appearance, students will be checked daily for adherence to the following:<\/span><\/p>

a. Complete school uniform, including shoes, tie, blazer, and ID card.<\/span><\/p>

b. Girls: Hair must be tied in two ponytails with a ribbon.<\/span><\/p>

c. All students: Shirts must be tucked in during school hours<\/span><\/p>

d. Boys: Hair must be neatly cut (half-shaving and military cuts are not permitted)<\/span><\/p>

e. Text books and Note books as per the time table need to be there in the bag.<\/span><\/p>

Please note that students who fail to adhere to the school’s uniform and discipline standards will not be permitted to attend classes. Repeated instances of non-compliance, despite warnings, may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the school.<\/span><\/p>

8. Attendance Requirement<\/b>: Students must maintain a minimum attendance of 70% to be eligible to take the final examination. Failure to meet this requirement will result in the student being required to repeat the year.<\/span><\/p>

9. Academic Performance Policy<\/b>: The students who fail for two consecutive years, shall not be allowed to take admission in the school.<\/span><\/p>

10. Promotion policy<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>

A student’s promotion to the next class is based on their overall performance throughout the academic year. This encompasses:<\/span><\/p>

\u00a011.\u00a0Curricular Performance<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>

– Unit test results<\/span><\/p>

– Half-yearly and annual exam results<\/span><\/p>

– Daily attendance<\/span><\/p>

– Regularity and punctuality<\/span><\/p>

12. Co-Curricular Performance<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>

– Active participation in school events<\/span><\/p>

– Certificates and medals received in games, sports, literary, art, craft, and inter-house competitions<\/span><\/p>

A student’s overall performance in both curricular and co-curricular activities will be evaluated to determine their promotion to the next class.<\/span><\/p>

13. Homework Policy:<\/b><\/p>

To ensure academic success, students are expected to:<\/span><\/p>

1. Complete all assigned homework.<\/span><\/p>

2. Bring completed homework to school.<\/span><\/p>

Failure to comply with this policy will result in:<\/span><\/p>

1. Initial warning<\/span><\/p>

2. Repeated instances: Student will be required to bring a parent\/guardian to school before being allowed to enter the classroom.<\/span><\/p>

14. Substance Abuse Policy:<\/b> The possession, consumption, or use of tobacco products (including cigarettes, bidis, and cigars), Pan-masala, Kwai, or any other addictive substances within the school premises is strictly prohibited.<\/span><\/p>

First-time offenders will be required to return to school with their parent and meet with the Principal. Repeat offenders will face dismissal from the school.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

15. Electronic Devices Policy<\/b>: Students are strictly prohibited from bringing mobile phones, smartwatches, toys, or any other electronic gadgets to school.<\/span><\/p>

First-time offenders will have their device confiscated and returned only to their parents. Repeat offenders will face permanent confiscation of the device.<\/span><\/p>

16. Prohibited Items Policy:<\/b> For the safety and well-being of all students, the following items are strictly prohibited on school premises: <\/span><\/p>

a. Steel rulers<\/span><\/p>

b. Metal bangles<\/span><\/p>

c. Any materials that could cause harm<\/span><\/p>

d. Correction pens<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0e. Lipsticks or any other Cosmetics<\/span><\/p>

f. Chewing gums<\/span><\/p>

Any student found in possession of these items will have them confiscated, and they will not be returned.<\/span><\/p>

17. Damage to School Property Policy<\/b>: Students are expected to respect and care for school property. Any intentional damage or destruction of school property will result in the student being held responsible for:<\/span><\/p>

– Paying for the damages<\/span><\/p>

– Replacing the damaged item<\/span><\/p>

Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the school.<\/span><\/p>

18. Classroom Maintenance Policy<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>

Students are expected to take pride in their learning environment and contribute to maintaining a clean and tidy classroom. Before leaving school each day, students are responsible for ensuring their classroom is Swept and Cleaned.<\/span><\/p>

19. Off-Campus Policy<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>

Students are not permitted to leave the school campus during school hours without the explicit permission of the Principal.<\/span><\/p>

Failure to comply with this policy will result in the following:<\/span><\/p>

First-time offenders<\/b>: Student must meet with the Principal, accompanied by a parent\/guardian.<\/span><\/p>

Repeat offenders<\/b>: Student will face dismissal from the school.<\/span><\/p>

20. School Policy on Prevention of and Response to Sexual Abuse of Children<\/b><\/p>

The school is committed to providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for all students. Sexual abuse of any kind is a grave violation of a child\u2019s rights and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The school has a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual abuse, harassment, or exploitation and is dedicated to preventing, identifying, and responding to such incidents promptly and effectively.<\/span><\/p>

21. Illness and Early Dismissal Policy<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>

If a student is found to be unwell or experiencing a health issue during school hours, the following procedure will be followed:<\/span><\/p>

– The parent\/guardian will be immediately notified.<\/span><\/p>

– The student will only be allowed to leave the school premises accompanied by their parent\/guardian.<\/span><\/p>

-The student won\u2019t be allowed to go alone.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a022. School Policy on Packaged (plastic) Snacks\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>

The school prohibits students from bringing packet food items such as Kurkure, chips, instant noodles, and similar packaged snacks to the premises. Students are required to bring home-cooked meals in their lunch boxes instead.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>

Policy Rationale:<\/span><\/u><\/p>

1. Environmental Responsibility<\/b>: The plastic waste from snack wrappers contributes to pollution on school grounds, undermining our commitment to sustainability.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>

2. Health & Wellness<\/b>: Packaged snacks often contain excessive additives, preservatives, and artificial ingredients, which are detrimental to students’ health.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>

3. Financial & Behavioral Concerns:<\/b> Frequent off-campus purchases of these items lead to unnecessary expenses and disruptions to the school day.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u201cYour cooperation maintaining academic discipline and adherence to school policies is appreciated<\/b>\u201d<\/span><\/p>

LEAVE AND ABSENCE<\/span><\/b><\/p>

1.\u00a0\u00a0Staying away from school without leave is not tolerated except in case of sudden illness or other unforeseen circumstances.\u00a0\u00a0No leave of absence is sanctioned nor is\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0a pupil allowed to leave the school during school hours except on the strength of a letter authorized by the parents\/ guardians and that too for weighty reasons.<\/span><\/p>

2.\u00a0\u00a0After an absence from class, pupils must bring the leave letter and show the reason for the absence duly entered in\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the regularity record.<\/span><\/p>

3.\u00a0\u00a0Absence from school on medical grounds should be supported by an authentic medical report.<\/span><\/p>

4.\u00a0\u00a0Half-day leave is typically not authorized unless there is a compelling reason and only with the approval of the principal.<\/span><\/p>

5.\u00a0\u00a0Late arrival to school is a breach of discipline.\u00a0\u00a0Students who come late habitually may be sent back home.<\/span><\/p>

6.\u00a0\u00a0Pupils who have been absent for 15 days without due authorization from the principal will have their names struck off the rolls.<\/span><\/p>

7.\u00a0\u00a0Pupils who are absent for more than 10% of working days of the school without proper authorization shall not be allowed to present themselves for the promotion examination.<\/span><\/p>

NOTES TO THE PARENTS<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Parents and guardians are earnestly requested to co-operate with the school authorities regarding lessons, home works, co-curricular activities and character training of their children.<\/span><\/p>

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Parents\/Guardians cannot dictate to the school authorities as the authorities have the right to say on what condition they will admit or retain the pupils in the institution.<\/span><\/p>

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Parents\/Guardians are requested to make proper arrangement to collect the students immediately after the school hours. Though proper care will be taken to ensure the safety of the school children, the school cannot be held responsible if the students leave the school campus on their own account.<\/span><\/p>

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Parents\/Guardians are requested to\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0meet\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Principal\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0to discuss the progress of their children by previous appointments.<\/span><\/p>

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Parents\/Guardians are not allowed to see their children or meet teachers during school hours at their class room if any necessity arises you are requested to meet the principal.<\/span><\/p>

6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0School will not accept from the parents\/guardians, books, tiffin, pencil box, etc. for their children during school hours.<\/span><\/p>

7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Parents\/Guardians are requested to inculcate in their children regular and punctual attendance.<\/span><\/p>

8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Parents\/Guardians should provide sufficient number of uniforms to their children and send them neat and clean.<\/span><\/p>

9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Parents\/Guardians should make sure never to interview\/ meet teacher without the permission of the Principal.<\/span><\/p>

10.\u00a0\u00a0Any communication (Request, Complaint, etc) should be written with full name and address of the parents\/guardian and it should be addressed to the Principal only.<\/span><\/p>

11.\u00a0\u00a0To avoid heavy load of work at the time of the examinations for children, parents\/guardians are required to:<\/span><\/p>

a.\u00a0\u00a0Provide a conductive convenient place for his\/her study at home.<\/span><\/p>

b.\u00a0\u00a0Make a study time table for him\/her and see that he\/she works at least three hours daily.<\/span><\/p>

c.\u00a0\u00a0Supervise all his\/her written works every day.<\/span><\/p>
